Dear Town of Barnstable Planning Board,
I am writing to convey my strong support for the Dockside Residences project.This area of
Hyannis is unique as it is within walking distance to restaurants and shops on Main Street,the
activity of the Harbor area,beaches,the Ferry Services and healthcare at Cape Cod Hospital.
Stuart Bornstein has endeavored to provide upgraded housing where residents who desire to,
can live in proximity to these areas and support the local businesses for many years.
Additionally,this project will provide improvements to the area in terms of sidewalks,lighting,
and aesthetics. These improvements will be a draw and a much welcomed lift to our community.
Throughout the developmental stages of this project,Mr.Bornstein has worked tirelessly to
address the concerns of local residents and all aspects of our local government agencies to
ensure that this project will be a boon to the Village of Hyannis.
My family has been business owners on Pleasant Street for several generations.Although not
directly abutting this project,we are strongly in favor of the positive impact this will have on
the East End of Main Street, Hyannis Harbor, and the Village of Hyannis as a whole.
