Good morning;
I am writing to you regarding the meeting on Feb 8th @ 7pm. I received a letter in the mail yesterday
which was sent to my previous address of 38 Wequaquet Lane, Centerville and then forwarded to me.
I sold my house last June, over 6 months ago. The home on 38 Wequaquet Lane is a direct abutter to
the two appeals submitted by Centerville Gardens LLC regarding a variance for a 110ft cell tower. In
cases like this, I would think you would confirm who the direct abutters are and notify them
appropriately. I believe my envelope was dated 1/25/23. Giving someone barely a weeks’ notice of a
hearing is also not really enough time. A 30 day notice giving people enough time to get prepared
and make sure the date is clear would be the right thing to do, especially since the person(s) submitting
the appeal had all the time in the world to prepare. People don’t sit around waiting for notices to
schedule their time and many work fulltime as well as have other obligations. I’m very disappointed
that the owner was not verified. His name is Richard Harrigan. The town should be privy to these
records.
I have copied him on this email and hope that you would reach out to him with an apology and
perhaps recognize that this appeal my need to be rescheduled to give him appropriate time to prepare.
