Brazilian Grill – 680 Main Street
Background
The subject property at 680 Main Street is an active restaurant. The property was originally constructed
as a single family home in the mid-1800s by Captain Daniel Bacon. The property has added multiple
single story additions over the years. The restaurant was permitted for signage in 2000 and the glass
addition was permitted in 2011.
Proposal
The Applicant proposes a single story addition to the front façade on either side of the front glass
enclosure.
Existing Conditions

The Commission requested additional facade improvements that may reflect and incorporate the
historical aspects and character of the original structure. No additional information has been received.
Kelly Borsatto – 525 South Street
Background
The subject property at 525 South Street is a three story four bay mixed use building with a wide front
porch and projecting gable bays, constructed in 2007. A former single story commercial building was
once located on this property. A certificate to demolish was approved by this Commission in 2006.
Proposal
The proposed improvements are to repair and replace rotted trim and paint building “driftwood” and
trim white.
The Application has provided a color palette for the proposed improvements. The Commission may wish
to confirm the full scope of the project. Is the building being painted in its entirety, will all trim be
replaced, if not, where, etc.
