I was asked to clarify that Peter Atkinson was NOT the person who verbally assaulted me at the HOA meeting last year. Peter, I believe, apologized to me for how the other gentleman treated
me (which was kind). I have offered to speak with Peter to correct his facts, and answer any other questions at all that he may have, as he is incorrect on almost all of his facts that
he sent to the historic committee via his letter.
I do not believe the historic committee is looking to revoke legally allowed uses for a property at tomorrow's meeting. I believe they are looking to simply ensure that the historically
significant homes in Barnstable are protected. If that is something they could/would be allowed to do I would need the facts corrected, of course, beforehand.
