Legal Ad_Modification to Sub 288 Pilots Way TOWN OF BARNSTABLE PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2022, AT 7:00 P.M. MODIFICATION TO SUBDIVISION NO. 288 – PILOTS WAY, BARNSTABLE, MA To all persons deemed interested in the Planning Board acting under the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Chapter 41, Sections 81A, through 81GG, Subdivision Control and all amendments thereto and Chapter 801, Subdivision Regulations of the Town of Barnstable you are hereby notified of a Public Hearing to consider modifications to Subdivision No. 288. The plan for this subdivision modification is entitled “Roadway Improvement Plan 55 Pilots Way Barnstable, Massachusetts” prepared by Merrill Engineers and Land Surveyors, dated January 12, 2022. The application is submitted by Deacon Crocker. The request is to amend the approved subdivision plan as required by the existing covenant in order to modify the roadway known as Pilots Way, to convey and develop 55 Pilots Way. The covenant requires the modifications to meet 1973 Town of Barnstable Subdivision Regulations. The modification to the roadway includes the width and profile of Pilots Way as well as the inclusion of additional gravel surface to allow for a turning area for emergency vehicles and a waiver from certain construction specifications and design standards of the 1973 Town of Barnstable Subdivision Regulations. The subject property is shown on Assessors Map 237 Parcel 064-001.
